Congratulations on your decision to study science and engineering and thank you for choosing Penn State!

While the past four years have been anything but ordinary, Penn State remains committed to supporting our students' academic success. That’s why we're excited to invite you to participate in the Engineering Ahead Summer Program—an opportunity for you to work ahead in developing college math and success skills at the Abington campus.
During five exciting weeks (four online and one on campus), you’ll work in teams, focusing on pre-calculus and calculus, study skills and “college survival” skills. Upon successful completion of the program, we hope you’ll find yourself better equipped to handle the intensity of Penn State’s engineering program.

Highlights:
Become familiar with the campus structure, professors, and future classmates.
Receive assistance with registering for your fall classes.
Participate in field trips to engineering companies, including Accudyne Systems, Lockheed Martin, Exxon Mobile, and others.
Work with faculty and peer mentors during your first two years at Penn State who will follow your progress in math and science, college GPA, and selection of major.
You will receive a $500 stipend upon successful completion.

Schedule and Details:
Start with a welcome and orientation session on Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Take courses online for four weeks and one week in person:
