Course Description

Each system has unique water issues. The Lead and Copper Rule requires systems to evaluate source water and when necessary to provide an effective corrosion control program. The primary purpose of this course is to introduce students to the various corrosion control chemicals. However, a familiarity with the PA Lead and Copper Rule as well as some basic chemistry principles are presented to help students understand the theory behind corrosion mechanisms and control. This workshop serves as preparatory study material for the DW subclass 7 ex M (corrosion control and sequestering).
