Course Description

Are you interested in learning how to make one-of-a-kind creations using digital media? Become a digital artist and join us for this hands-on interactive camp where students will learn and create using computers, cameras and programs. Students will immerse themselves in the world of digital media. The primary focus of this camp will be the basics of Photoshop for beginners.

Topics include:

• Creating original 2D graphics and design projects
• Customizing and optimizing images
• Understanding basic techniques for making quality compositions
• Using tutorials and web searches to advance skills
• Practicing the basics of photography and video elements to produce unique and amazing effects

Exercises include choosing from a variety of projects such as creating a small portfolio, photo collage, and printing a one-of-a-kind poster as a final project.
