Course Description

Penn State Berks is pleased to host the 81st Annual Intercollegiate Student Chemist Convention on Saturday, April 29, 2017.

The ISC Convention is one of the oldest, continuously meeting annual conventions of its kind in the United States.  It is intended to recognize and reward meaningful undergraduate research in the chemical sciences, providing a forum for students to give oral presentations of the results of their research.  Research from all branches of chemistry is welcome.

The Convention will include a series of student presentations grouped by discipline, the annual business meeting, keynote address and an awards ceremony.  The keynote speaker is Dr. Luis Colon, the A. Gonger Goodyear Professor of Chemistry and Associate Dean for Graduate and Postdoctoral Education at the University of Buffalo.  Light refreshments and lunch will be provided.

A discount of $5 will be deducted from the course fee for registrations received on or before Tuesday, April 18, 2017.
