Course Description

Harassment prevention starts with a change of behavior. Although some workplace behavior is easy to identify as inappropriate, many actions that may appear innocent on the surface can be viewed as incidents of harassment. This training is designed to ensure that your employees are properly informed on the ways to prevent harassment in the workplace and to cover information involving harassment based on gender, race, religion, national origin, age, and disability. Because different positions within the organization require different levels of anti-harassment training, this program has been customized to meet the needs of supervisors and non-supervisors.

This training will address communication and reporting procedures and help the leadership team develop more effective policies and procedures. It will include a video, PowerPoint presentation, role play simulation and question and answer period.

Course Outline:

Introduction on forms of harassment, law, Title VII, examples of events, video(s)

Group work, role play, scenarios, questions and answers, supervisor policy making*

*Only the management training classes will include information on how to create policy and how to use policy correctly.
