Course Description

Negotiating opportunities are everywhere in the workplace: bargaining, negotiating, and resolving disputes with bosses, co-workers, subordinates, suppliers, customers, and competitors to name a few. Effective negotiation can improve your own outcomes as well as those of the other parties involved. Ineffective negotiation, not only hurts your own ability to get "things done" but can also lead to poorly constructed or failed agreements in which everybody loses. The goal of this workshop is to introduce you to basic negotiating skills. We will cover theory and practice of negotiation.
