Course Description

Students in this course will explore the Unified Modeling Language (UML). UML is a modeling language that utilizes a series of diagrams as an approach to documenting the business process. This series of nine diagrams can be portioned into four categories, including use case and dynamic structure diagrams. It is this methodology that affords software developers and business analysts a clearer picture of what the end users expectations may be, regardless if it is for a simple program or an enterprise-wide application. During this course students will be introduced to data modeling with entity relationship diagrams.
