Course Description

Fundamentals of Fundraising- Art of the Ask. This training will cultivate participant skills and strategies when asking for a major gift. Will include building relationships by identifying and cultivating prospects; lay the groundwork to learn how to develop a plan to support your case; learn the process of the asking for a gift including the warm up, when to remain silent and responding to obstacles and concerns; review techniques by role playing a scenario with a volunteer prospect; and, identify commonalities and opportunities for improvement with group discussion.
