Course Description

The focus of the course is to provide basic training to all attorneys working in a iv-d capacity for the DRS. The course focuses on practical application of the law through discussion and analysis of case scenarios.  The class provides a basic overview of the iv-d attorney's responsibilities and duties, such as representing a party in paternity actions, establishment actions, enforcement proceedings, and interstate actions.  It also provides PACSES basics and helpful tips on how to use PACSES to benefit their representation of clients.  Participants will access an online participant's manual.
