Course Description

This is a full day immersion into discovery of what it means to be a leader. The course is designed for leaders who are interested in self-development with the intent to be more authentic, effective and engaging as leaders in mind, body, spirit and heart. The basis of self-development is a thorough understanding of how one thinks, feels and makes decisions. Participants learn the role of perception, interpretation and the brain-body chemical reactions that occur in the body and how these interactions drive leadership engagement. Leadership today requires expanded capacities that exceed the cognitive domains typically regarded as success factors in business. We live and lead in times that require us to more fully develop the following:

  • Resilience – The ability to adapt and swiftly recover from adversity
  • Self-Awareness – The ability to realistically know one’s strengths and vulnerabilities
  • Mindfulness – As a core skill that supports self–awareness and self-management that leads to increased Emotional Intelligence
