Course Description

This course will review normal and abnormal anatomy & physiology. Example, comparing the human body to an automobile. Learn how a car's computer system (ECU) is like the brain. The engine functions like a heart, the stomach like a gas tank, the kidney and liver like an oil filter, and muscles like a transmission as well as many other similarities. Learn pertinent lab values and imaging tests much the way a 'code reader' diagnosis's faulty operation.
Discuss evidence-based assessment and intervention strategies for pathological conditions affecting the endocrine, cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and neurological systems. supportive environment.
