Course Description

This training reviews how the Domestic Relations Section (DRS) reports delinquent obligors to credit reporting agencies. By the end of this training, participants will be able to: (1) explain the purpose of the credit bureau reporting remedy; (2) define eligibility criteria; (3) specify what constitutes notification; (4) describe the credit bureau reporting process; (5) identify how to contest credit bureau reporting; (6) recognize the importance of suspending credit bureau reporting; (7) identify the PACSES reason codes for the suspension of credit bureau reporting; and (8) distinguish between termination and/or compliance. Assessment will be based on active participation in the course.
