Course Description

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommends this 10-hour training for employees in many different industries in order to maintain a healthy and safe work environment. This training program is intended to provide entry-level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities and how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job-related hazards on a job site. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter. Students will receive their OSHA 10 card in the mail following the class.

Dates: Wednesday, August 27 and Thursday, August 28  
Time: 8:30 am – 3:00 pm 
Location:  Penn State DuBois 1 College Place DuBois, PA 15801 
Students will receive their OSHA 10 course completion card in the mail following the class. There will be a one-hour lunch break, during which participants are free to explore local dining options on their own.
