Course Description

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) recommends this 10-hour training for employees in many different industries in order to maintain a healthy and safe work environment. This training program is intended to provide entry-level general industry workers information about their rights, employer responsibilities and how to identify, abate, avoid and prevent job-related hazards on a job site. The training covers a variety of general industry safety and health hazards that a worker may encounter. Students will receive their OSHA 10 card in the mail following the class.

Cancellation Policy: The University may cancel or postpone any course because of insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances. If a program is cancelled or postponed the University will refund fees but cannot be held responsible for other costs, charges, or expenses, including cancellation/change charges assessed by airlines, or travel agencies.

Refund Policy: Refunds will be made only for cancellations received at least 10 days prior to the start of class.  After that, the individual or sponsoring organization will be held responsible for the fee.  Registered participants who do not attend will be charged.
