Course Description

This program will focus on how human society depends, and has an effect, on the environment. Students will gain a better understanding of what human behaviors have led to our current resource production and consumption crisis. This camp will explore ways people can modify behavior to afford economic growth and environmental protection. Students will be introduced to careers that can provide income, job satisfaction, and can make a difference in the world.

YOUTH RESIDING IN LACKAWANNA COUNTY! Sustainability: Careers, Climate, Critters, and Culture– This day camp is for youth ages 13-16. Dates: Monday – Friday, July 15 – July 19, 2024. Time: 9 am – Noon.  Location: Penn State Scranton - 120 Ridge View Drive Dunmore, PA 18512. Please be sure to list your address and email carefully. If you have any questions regarding the online registration process for this class or if you experience difficulties with registration, please contact the non-credit registration office at 814-867-4973.
