Course Description

Servsafe 10 hour Food Safety training session. Training participants are required to complete 8 hours of pre-work using additional materials.  Course highlights include food safety, sanitation, dishwashing, purchasing food, food handling, food storage, protection from contamination, expiration dates, proper refrigeration, cooking and defrosting, cleaning & disinfecting. The training exam (price included) will be proctored and conducted in the last 2 hours of the training.

This is a live seminar administered by Penn State Abington. If the session is full, please “Join Waitlist” and you will receive an email if a registration opens.  Please note that you will only have 4 hours to enroll.  

If you are enrolled, you will receive classroom and materials one week before the seminar. Program time:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm. (One hour lunch provided).
