Course Description

The purpose of this workshop is to provide students with the necessary study material for the general drinking water certification examination. This course, General Overview, is to provide a brief outline of the public water system, including responsibilities of the operator, public water system classifications, federal and state regulations, the hydrologic cycle, primary and secondary regulations, safety topics, plant maintenance topics, basic chemistry, microbiology and distribution topics. We will also cover some math calculations including temperature conversions, pressure, specific gravity, unaccounted water
