Understanding the stages of dementia, needs for each stage, behaviors associated with each stage, Alzheimer’s disease, recognizing dementia, interpreting and addressing challenging behaviors, other special needs including individual s with brain injury, mobility needs, dementia, dual diagnosis, who have forensic issues, who are blind, deaf, and who are sex offenders, conflict resolution and validation.

This live webinar is part of the Activities for Daily Living (ADL) and the ADL Extended Series administered by Penn State Abington for continuing education for Healthcare professionals . If the session is full, please choose “Join Wait List”; if a space opens, you will receive an email and have 4 hours to enroll.  Upon registration, you will receive a link, via email, and log-in directions to the online classroom and materials the Friday before class. Program time: 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. You will need to login to Zoom with a computer that has video and audio capability.  You will need to always have your camera on and appear in view for attendance requirements.  Attendance is also verified by reviewing zoom registration and participation records.
