THIS COURSE PROVIDES FOUNDATIONAL KNOWLEDGE FOR DRS DIRECTORS AND SENIOR MANAGERS. THE FOCUS OF THIS 400-LEVEL COURSE IS TO PROVIDE AN INTRODUCTION TO THE FEDERAL PERFORMANCE MEASURES (FPMS) FOR THE TITLE IV-D PROGRAM AND EXPLAIN WHY THEY ARE IMPORTANT TO DRS DIRECTORS AND MANAGERS. THE PRIMARY TOPICS ADDRESSED IN THIS COURSE ARE TITLE IV-D PROGRAM FPMS; HOW FPMS ARE CALCULATED; STRATEGIES TO IMPROVE FPMS; HOW NON-FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS (NFOBS) IMPACT FPMS; RESOURCES TO IMPROVE FPMS; AND HOW FPMS IMPACT FEDERAL INCENTIVE PAYMENTS TO THE STATE AND DRS.
