Course Description

The nature of interactions between members of a group or organization is a key factor in defining the work climate of that organization or group. This module examines how supervisor-employee and employee-employee interactions affect climate and performance. It also introduces three skill areas that are critical to developing and maintaining positive, effective interactions: respectful communication, dealing with difficult behavior in others, and controlling workplace stress. Opportunities for self- and situational analysis are included with a focus on developing action ideas helpful in creating work climates that support individual, group and organization success.
