Course Description

Enhanced Goal Setting: Setting and accomplishing goals is a complex process. If it were not, then people would be much better at accomplishing their goals. In the past few decades, many new concepts have arisen to aid people in pursuance of goals. However, even with new techniques and technologies, people still feel that they cannot accomplish their goals.

While some of the more aged aspects of goal-setting are intuitive, such as writing down one’s goals or using concepts like the variations of SMART to flesh out goals, other rising concepts are not necessarily as intuitive. This session will review a mix of old and new tactics available to better achieve one’s goals. Please note that this is a highly interactive session, so participants are encouraged to bring six to ten goals to this session to develop during the program. *This workshop is not a module in the comprehensive Penn State “Supervision Essentials” certificate program.
