This course provides an opportunity to set up and operate equipment found in a typical regional winery, focusing on equipment used for final filtration, bottling and labeling. Proper sanitation procedures will be included.

 This course incorporates online lecture with 1 weekend session at a regional winery.  Topics covered include: Introduction to winery equipment, weekend session at a regional winery and sanitation procedures.  An in-person winery tour is required for this course.  Students choose from either a winery location in either Southeastern PA on 9/24/22 or Northwestern PA on 10/1/22.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  A full refund will be offered through September 12, 2022.  A $50 drop fee will be assessed for cancellation requests received between September 13-18, 2022.  No refunds will be offered after the September 19, 2022.   Cancellation requests should be directed to Elaine Berish at emb1@psu.edu.
