Course Description

Campers will have the opportunity to recreate famous astronomy experiments, build their own telescopes, and obtain actual data from NASA telescopes. They will work to set up classic experiments, make observations and analyze their findings. They will have access to the PSU Friedman Observatory Meade 16” LX200 ACF telescope and a solar telescope to view the Sun, Moon and any planets that are in the sky during camp

Astronomy Camp at the Friedman Observatory – This camp is for youth entering grades 6-9 in the fall.
Dates:  Monday – Friday July 10 – July 14, 2023
Location:  Penn State Wilkes-Barre Campus
Time:  11:00 am – 3:00 pm
