Understanding geriatric needs, normal adult development and aging, aging in place, suicide, substance abuse in older adults, appropriate sexual behavior, death/dying, end-of-life issues, age discrimination, elder care payment restitution act, characteristics and symptoms of depression & loneliness, awareness of special needs and accommodations that allow us to live a healthy lifestyle.

This is a live lecture is administered by Penn State Abington. If the session is full, please choose “Join Wait List”; if a space opens, you will receive an email and have 4 hours to enroll. Upon registration, you will receive information about the in-person class (Directions, materials, etc.)  Program time: 8 a.m. to 3pm (One hour for lunch) Check in begins at 7:30am.

Location of the training is the Penn State Abington Continuing Education Office, 1095 Rydal Road, Jenkintown PA 19046; conference room 300.  Please note that this location is ½ mile away from the PSU Abington campus.  The office is next to the Rydal Septa Train station.
