Healthcare ethics, notification of rights, assuring rights are upheld, concept that is "home" for residents, home rules, dignity and respect, role of the ombudsman, discharge and transfer rights, awareness of state and federal laws regarding rights, communication techniques, empathy, caring & sensitivity training and complaint procedures

This is a live lecture is administered by Penn State Abington. Upon registration, you will receive information about the in-person class (Directions, materials, etc.)  Program time: 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Check in begins at 8:30am.

Location of the training is the Penn State Abington Continuing Education Office, 1095 Rydal Road, Jenkintown PA 19046; conference room 300.  Please note that this location is ½ mile away from the PSU Abington campus.  The office is next to the Rydal Septa Train station.
