Understanding geriatric needs, normal adult development and aging, aging in place, suicide, substance abuse in older adults, appropriate sexual behavior, death/dying, end-of-life issues, age discrimination, elder care payment restitution act, characteristics and symptoms of depression & loneliness, awareness of special needs and accommodations that allow us to live a healthy lifestyle.

This live training is administered by Penn State Abington. If the session is full, please choose “Join Wait List”; if a space opens, you will receive an email and have 4 hours to enroll. Upon registration, you will receive confirmation, via email, and directions to the classroom, the classroom will be in Abington, PA. Materials will be sent one week before class. Attendance for the full class time is required and will be monitored.  Program time: 8:00am – 3:00p.m. Check in begins at 7:30am.
