Course Description

Highlights the need to regularly offer food and water, monitor food and water intake, dishwashing, dietary allowances, portions, food choices, balanced menu, special diets preparing special diets, weight and appetite loss, purchasing food, food handlers, food storage, protection from contamination, expiration dates, proper refrigeration, cooking and defrosting, and cleaning & disinfecting.

This live training is administered by Penn State Abington. If the session is full, please choose “Join Wait List”; if a space opens, you will receive an email and have 4 hours to enroll. Upon registration, you will receive confirmation, via email, and directions to the classroom. The location will be in Abington, PA. Materials will be sent one week before class. Attendance for the full class time is required and will be monitored.  Program time: On 9/27/24 it will be 8:00am to 4:00pm.
