Understanding mental illness, interpreting and addressing challenging behavior therapies available, de-escalation techniques, non-violent intervention techniques, appropriate sexual behavior, understanding recovery principles, care for individuals with substance abuse, forensic issues, and sex offenders, creating a therapeutic environment, commitment procedures, medications and mental health, behavior modifications, conflict resolution, and signs/symptoms and consequences of depression

This live webinar is part of the Activities for Daily Living (ADL) and the ADL Extended Series administered by Penn State Abington for continuing education for Healthcare professionals . If the session is full, please choose “Join Wait List”; if a space opens, you will receive an email and have 4 hours to enroll.  Upon registration, you will receive a link, via email, and log-in directions to the online classroom and materials the Friday before class. Program time: 6:00 - 9:30 p.m. You will need to login to Zoom with a computer that has video and audio capability.  You will need to always have your camera on and appear in view for attendance requirements.  Attendance is also verified by reviewing zoom registration and participation records.
