UPON COMPLETION OF THE CLASS, THE LEARNER WILL HAVE THE INFORMATION TO BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:  CONSUMER CHOICE PHILOSOPHY; DETAILS TO TRAIN STAFF TO SUPPORT RESIDENT CHOICE AND INDEPENDENCE; THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE RESIDENTS--DEVELOPING ACTIVITIES, SUPPORT PLAN DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION AND RESPECTING DECISION MAKING; THE ABILITY TO ENGAGE FAMILIES; CONFLICT RESOLUTION; AND THE ABILITY TO MANAGE AN ASSISTED LIVING RESIDENCE WHILE RESPECTING A RESIDENT'S CHOICE AND PRIVACY.

This is a live training administered by Penn State Abington. You will receive classroom information and materials one week before the seminar. Program time: 8:00am to 12:00 noon on 10/24/24. Lunch will be provided at 12:00 noon. Location of the training is in Abington PA, in Southeastern PA.  Specific location will be provided closer to the date of the program.
