Course Description

 The program will introduce and explore the core concepts of modern data-driven, automated, and cyber-physical manufacturing systems for the current manufacturing workforce. The depth of coverage ranges from definitions and overviews to detailed hands-on activities using an example production process. Participants learn core strategies and approaches to Smart Manufacturing using data driven analysis, simulation, automation, and optimization techniques to improve manufacturing systems. Module 1 will be held virtually – Tuesday-Thursday, July 23, 24 and 25 2024 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. 
Modules 2-4 will be held face-to-face Monday-Thursday, August 5, 6, 7 & 8, 2024 - 8:30 am – 4:30 pm.
