Course Description

PLC Basics- This beginners course will teach basics involved with Allen-Bradley PLC5 and SLC-500 programmable logic controllers with rslogic software, but the concepts taught apply to the PLCs of other manufactures. Students after completing the course will understand basic ladder logic, ladder logic execution, discrete i/o, memory addressing, timers, counters, analog i/o, sequential operations, math and comparison instructions, and troubleshooting.
