THE SHRM CERTIFICATION PREP+ COURSE IS DESIGNED TO PROVIDE YOU WITH AN OVERVIEW OF KEY AREAS IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT. MATERIALS INCLUDE EIGHT BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES THAT CORRESPOND TO LEADERSHIP AND NAVIGATION, ETHICAL PRACTICE, INCLUSIVE MINDSET, RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT, COMMUNICATION, BUSINESS ACUMEN, CONSULTATION AND ANALYTICAL APTITUDE. PROGRAM TOPICS INCLUDE HR STRATEGY, TALENT ACQUISITION, EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT AND RETENTION, LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT, TOTAL REWARDS, STRUCTURE OF THE HR FUNCTION, ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS AND DEVELOPMENT, WORKFORCE MANAGEMENT, EMPLOYEE AND LABOR RELATIONS, TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT, MANAGING A GLOBAL WORKFORCE, RISK MANAGEMENT, CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND U.S. EMPLOYMENT LAW AND REGULATIONS.
