Course Description

Artificial intelligence is already part of long-term care operations - from scheduling and documentation to communication, monitoring, and other everyday technology. This interactive, full-day workshop helps Personal Care Home, Assisted Living, and Nursing Home providers understand the emerging risks and responsibilities associated with AI and HIPAA.

Participants will explore where AI is being used in their organizations, identify potential privacy and compliance risks, examine real-world scenarios involving resident information, and learn how to evaluate AI-enabled vendors and Business Associate Agreements. The workshop moves beyond discussion to provide practical tools providers can use immediately.
