Course Description

This 16-hour noncredit course introduces participants to the principles and practices of developing an entrepreneurial mindset—an approach that emphasizes creativity, adaptability, problem-solving, and resilience in any career path. Through primarily asynchronous online modules, learners will explore key concepts such as opportunity recognition, innovative thinking, and value creation. Four one-hour in-person sessions provide opportunities for discussion, collaboration, and application of concepts to real-world scenarios. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with practical tools and strategies to think like an entrepreneur and apply these skills to their personal, academic, and professional goals.

Section Notes

​Course content will be primarily asynchronous, with four one-hour class discussions held at Penn State Lehigh Valley, 2809 Saucon Valley Rd. Center Valley, PA 18034. To register for a Penn State access id, please contact Cindy Evans at cindyevans@psu.edu. This is necessary to access educational learning management system. The course material will be available on October 28, 2026. Participants will be expected to have assigned coursework completed prior to the first in-person class discussion.​
